I think coloured usernames help you to identify who is staff and who isn't. So when there are a lot of users online and you need to find a staff member, but don't know who's who, you won't have to click a million names to find one.
(Mind you I'm just speaking for new members.)

I know it doesn't have to be the same as Mibba colors but they're just all too similar. There could at least be like, pink, green, and yellow maybe. Not just different shades of blue... It throws me off, really.

I suggested Pink and Yellow. But... we had to have colours that everyone agreed one. We're just trying to run a site where all the staff agree on what is happening, that way we're all happy.
Marlee and I even changed the admin ranks to Pink one day...

Could the fandom/pairing[s] be mentioned in the title of threads for fanfiction stories?
I don't usually read a story just because of the pairing in the story but I don't like read stories about bands I don't really know that well and sometimes I'm in the mood to read a certain type of story.
It's annoying to keep clicking on every story thread.

or we could do one thread for the six-words and one section for, i don't know, just dialogue, and one for flash fiction, or something. and just put all of those threads into one subforum.
