Fair Day 2009
So September 27 was Perth Fair Day. Fair Day is pretty much a huge, gay fair. Like, literally. It's a massive fair full of fags and fag lovers that kicks off pride month at the beginning of every year.
So obviously, with me being the massive faggot I am, frequently attending the Freedom Center and working for a gay magazine, I was going to enjoy this. But I seriously did not imagine how much I would.
It was just amazing (': hung out with so many wonderful people, took some amazing photos that I'm really proud of, and, definitely the best part of the day, got into the 18+ section because I was doing photography for Out in Perth. It was kind of funny - I just walked in and they didn't ask any questions, but I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't been allowed to be in there they would have asked for ID, just because my life is ironic like that.
Still, I got some great photos, and I decided afterwards, seeing as they weren't actively kicking people out and a bunch of my underaged friends were still there (via fence-jumping, MAN the security was lax) that I'd just hang around. There was DJs and drag queens and nudity
Still, it was awesome. I only had a couple (...maybe 5 or 6) of drinks and danced for about 3 hours, before walking into the city, getting a taxi home and collapsing into bed. I've uploaded a few photos to my deviantart, too, and it'd mean a lot if you guys checked them out.
all in all, holy crap I cant wait for pride next year when I can LEGALLY go out and chill and dance with my bffls :D

Even if you were to take a look and comment here it'd make my day. I'll put them up in my photos thread tomorrow, too, even though like two people have looked at that :/

I mean, I knew you could photography, but I didn't realize you were THAT good.

Ooh fractals!
and rita, thankyou
I don't consider myself to be great, but it's something I really love so it's nice when other people enjoy it too.
