That's right, the 'I' word.
I know I'm not the only one here who is up in the wee hours of the morning.
Discuss. you have pleased him

You're not. -___-
I usually have a hard time turning my brain off. I think it's the ADD.
Anyway, I never sleep anymore. shjfdhnjfvmerrmerrme

I have insomnia on and off, for a few weeks at a time.
I'm pretty sure it's my ADD, too, I just can't seem to calm my brain down enough to sleep..

I sleep way too little tbh, I usually sleep at 1-2 am and wake up at 6:30 for school. That makes about 4 or 5 hours a night.
:/

The insomnia's pretty much genetic, my parents both have trouble sleeping (that's why I can't sneak around at night). But I've been having to stay up to work a lot lately, which doesn't help either.

I'm suffering from it right now (':

I've spent the last hour and a half lying in bed, trying to shut my fucking mind off.

I've always had this problem. I just can't. Stop. Thinking.

Sometimes it's like I have this tiny window of opportunity in which I can sleep, and if I catch it it's like YES because then I get a good night's sleep. But, if I DON'T catch it then I'm pretty much fucked.

Like, I've taken a sleeping pill so I should be asleep by now, and I know it because my body is exhausted. But my mind just won't let me.

It actually kind of amazes me how strong the power of the mind is, to be able to overcome drugs. I'd think it was fascinating if it wasn't keeping me the fuck awake.

So, question, myoclonic jerks. Who else hates the fuck out of them?

I don't like sleeping if there's people around. even if there's not I just waste time and dunno why. I could be studying or something, but I don't. I just...waste time at night. Not even sleeping. Just...doin nothing.

^ LOL@CHUUU
I don't exactly do anything to stop mine. Drinking coffee well into the wee hours and never waking up before eleven the next day.

I think mine's just accumulated bad habits. That I should probably work on. lol@chu

Is it something you have to, though?

The thing is, I can function as an insomniac, so I do. I mean, it's probably not doing me any *good*, but it's not having that much of a negative effect either. I get the reccomended average amount of sleep, I just don't get it in the prescribed doses lol@chu

But for meentally, insomia is a healthier way to go. It helps my creativity and almost all of the best things I've written (prose or music) have been done late at night/the early hours of the morning.

Plus I love night pedo y/y?

Hell freaking yes.
I've written entire stories at 2 in the morning.

Agreed.

All my best stories and poems have been written on coffee and cigarette fuelled benders that last well into the wee hours of the morning.
